“Baia di Taormina” – From “Porto dell’Etna” to Taormina and back

A full day excursion discovering “Baia di Spisone”, “Baia di Mazzarò” and the wonderful “Grotta Azzurra”. While navigating, you will learn the basics of sailing and some curiosities and legends about our land. During the day you will have the possibility to do some self-guided snorkeling and we will offer you also a light lunch.

CANCELLATION POLICY	Free cancellation 1 month before the tour No show or late cancellation up to 7 days before the service: 50% of the total amount as penalty Cancellation one week before the excursion : 100% of the total amount for penalty
BOOKING POLICY	First please send us a booking request and allow us to check availability Then to guarantee your booking, will require a prepayment of 50% of the total tour price at time of booking and the balance of the service 7 days before to the excursion date.

Tips

We suggest you to bring your own swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen lotion. Wind jackets and hats can be needed since it could be windy while sailing.

If you think you can suffer from seasickness we suggest you to take pills and patches before the tour. If you don’t have the equipment required we will provide you with the necessary, ask for it when you book.

Welcome on board!

Once you meet the skipper you will get on board on the boat that will be that will be moored at the pier of the "Porto dell'Etna" of Riposto.

Swim and self-guided snorkel at "Baia di Spisone"

At "Baia di Spisone" you can have the first swim of the day and practice some self-guided snorkeling. You will enjoy the view of a beach with sand of pebbles and sea of medium depth; very impressive islets of stone that emerge from the water.

Baia di Mazzarò

You will sail towards Baia di Mazzarò, famous for being one of the small jewels of the Sicilian coast and Taormina, which is embedded in two rock spurs covered with Mediterranean vegetation.

Light lunch at anchor at "Isola Bella" bay

Near Isola Bella, an impressive islet surrounded by lush vegetation and connected by a natural sands trip to the land, you will have a light lunch. After lunch you will have the opportunity to observe the “Grotta Azzurra” with its heavenly beauty, reflections of light and variety of marine animals, and to practice also there some self-guided snorkeling.

Back to our home port

During the return trip you can take a bath offshore (weather permitting). You will be back in Riposto around 6.30 p.m.
